She was also known to many as “Aunt Mamie.” WebAfter several years of retirement, Tom decided to return to the funeral profession and ultimately joined the staff of Thompson Funeral Homes. Tom and his wife, Carolyn, were married in 1958, and later became the parents of two sons and one daughter. Their oldest son, Mike, died in 1987 and their second son, David, died in 2013.
