I think some of the diy ODS amps on this forum sound better. One thing that was apparent to me was that the Master Volume on a TS1 didn't work like a 102 or a 183 style amp. Humidity and dust will definitely be larger issues than the heat. Speaker rot is a real phenomenon. The situation isn't ideal, but if you cover them you probably prevent most of the dust issue.
