This is achieved by finding the superposition that maximizes the sum of the s i -values, as defined in Equation 1 , over all residues i in a structure. WebWe explore different ways to simplify the evaluation of the smooth overlap of atomic positions (SOAP) many-body atomic descriptor [Bartók et al., Phys. Rev. B 87, 184115 (2013)., 10.1103/PhysRevB.87.184115]. Our aim is to improve the computational efficiency of SOAP-based similarity kernel construction.
