Webtl;dr: The Embody is rigid and supportive, has a great tilt mechanism, but takes time to adjust to and has worse arm rests. The Fern is pliant and comfy but not nearly as supportive without extra lumbar support and has a stickier tilt mechanism. Very different sitting experience despite their similarities. WebBrand new! Unfortunately, upon more research, it seems the model of Fern that Haworth's offering through my company discount is the one without any lumbar support, so having 2nd thoughts about that now.
