If you stack two deeps, just like you would on a hive and then put one on end inside you have what I'm describing. make it about four inches taller than that to give you some leeway when filling and the level going up and down as you add and remove and the boiling not boiling over. WebMar 6, 2006 · My Tansinian Top Bar hive is two one by eights 47 1/4" long with a 3/8" wide 3/4" deep frame rest on them. The ends are 19 7/8" glued and screwed onto the ends. The bottom is #8 hardware cloth on the bottom with a one by twos across the middle for support across the ends. The sides are then filled in (between the one by twos) with a 2 by 2 to ... clutter my storage
