He was baptised 26 May 1833 at Saint John The Baptist, Shoreditch, London. On 1 December 1838 the Bock family, Alfred and Sarah Bock and child Alfred, arrived in South Australia on the Lloyds. He died in 1891. WebBock is a high alcohol content lager made using bottom-fermenting yeast in cold temperatures. Although stronger than the typical lager, most beers of this style are only moderately hopped and have a dominant malt character. Traditional bocks are brewed using Vienna and Munich malts.
